From Character to CEO: The Internal Shift That Helped Me Take the Crown

Aug 18, 2025

At one point in my business journey, I was still playing a character, but not the kind you’d think. I was playing the girl who thought she had to prove herself. The one who didn’t feel experienced or professional enough to run a real business.

I was hustling, overworking, and doubting myself, all while secretly believing I didn’t belong in the rooms I was entering.

Everything changed when we landed a corporate client who paid us over $50,000 annually, and we helped pull their business out of debt through intentional character experiences. That’s when it hit me:

I’m not just a performer. I’m a professional.

I was capable of doing big things, but I had to start acting like it.

To shift into CEO energy, I:

  • Invested in personal development

  • Let go of the victim mindset and began visualizing higher outcomes

  • Created ladders of believability instead of looking at my dreams as distant

  • Put myself in rooms with people who were rising — and matched their energy

Becoming a CEO doesn’t start with a title. It starts with a decision to stop playing small.
